NEW EVENTS
GAME NIGHT– The next game night will be Saturday, Feb. 6th at 6:00pm. Come and bring your favorite games to play and share. We had a blast at the January gathering. Be sure to mark your calendars.

BLOODMOBILE - will be here on Sunday, February 7^th from 10:00am - 12:30pm. If you can’t donate that day, please stop by one of the Shepeard Blood Centers & give the gift of life. There is a sign-up sheet in the walkway.
LUTHERAN HOUR MINISTRIES SUNDAY - Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM) proclaims the Gospel around the world and equips congregations to share Jesus with others. On February 14^th, join us for LHM Sunday to learn about their ministry. For more information about LHM, visit www.lhm.org.
VALENTINE’S DINNER AND PROGRAM – Saturday, February 13^th at 6:00pm is the date for our Valentine’s Day Candlelight Dinner with Entertainment! The dinner will include: Salad, Rolls, Grilled Marinated Chicken Breast, Beef Tips in Burgundy Demi Glaze, Corn Souffle, Buttered Mashed Potatoes, Oven Roasted Green Beans, Glazed Baby Carrots, Fresh Baked Apple Pie and Homemade Blueberry Crisp (of course both include ice cream!) There will be live musical entertainment during dinner and after dinner we will be playing “The Newlywed Game Show”! Contestants will be picked randomly and we will find out just how well you know your spouse! The cost is $17.00 per person. All ladies will receive a long stem rose. There is a sign up sheet and payment envelopes on the table in the walkway. Please invite your family and friends to join us for this special fun filled evening. Dinner and child care will be provided at no additional cost. Please sign-up by February 7^th!
CHURCH WORK DAY – The next series of work days are set for March 12^th and 13^th. Reserve these dates as we strive to get our facility cleaned and shined up before the Easter season.

THE LWML UNIT MEETING will be held on Wednesday, January 27 at 6:30 p.m. and supper will be provided. The program will be a video on Lutheran World Relief. The quilters have supported this organization with lots of quilts over the years. Come and see how they are send all over the world. All women of the congregation are invited. There is a sign-up sheet on the table in the walkway.

THE MARY MARTHA CIRCLE will meet on Wednesday, February 3rd at 9:30 a.m. Following a light brunch and bible study, work will begin on the confirmation banners.

ADULT INFORMATION CLASS
A new class will be held on Saturdays - led by Pastor Schwartz. The first meeting is on January 9^th at 10am – 11:15am. If you are interested in attending, please sign up on the list in the walk thru area.

Just a reminder that THE YOUNG AT HEART meetings for February and March will be special performances at the Abbeville Opera House. On Saturday, February 6th at 3:00 p.m. we will be attending the feature "Forever Plaid". On Saturday, March 13th at 3:00 p.m. "Cheaper by the Dozen" will be the feature. FAMILY NIGHT - Our first Family Night had 61 people attend. Please plan to join us again or attend for the first time and share in this exciting new opportunity at ORLC. The next Family Night is scheduled for Wednesday, February 10th at 6:15 p.m. We will gather in the Fellowship Hall. The night will have a combination of large group and small group activities that will bring about learning, fellowship, and praise to God our Lord and Savior. Family Night will be for families of all ages as we will have opportunities for people no matter the age or family dynamic.

THE WOMENS MONTHLY BIBLE STUDY will be held Saturday, February 20th at 9:30 a.m. to Noon at the home of Jennifer Noah. Please call Jennifer at (706) 855-7223 for more information or directions. Adult Bible Studies

Ladies A.M. Bible Study (LAMBS) meets on Thursdays at 9:30am in Room 309. They will begin a study on The Gospel of Mark. Child care will be provided, please call the church office at (706) 733-6076 by Tuesday if needed.

Men’s Breakfast Bible Study (MBBS) meets on Fridays at 6:30am in Room 309. Beginning January 15, 2010, MBBS will begin the video series "That The World May Know" led by Chris Noah. This particular topic is not just for men on Friday morning, but would be appropriate for all ages from confirmation on up.
