Our Ministry Team
Pastor: Roger A. Schwartz was installed at Our Redeemer in May of 2008. He received his Master of Divinity Degree (M. Div.) in 2000 from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri. Before coming to Our Redeemer, He served Trinity Lutheran Church in Toccoa, GA and was involved in planting a mission congregation in Clarkesville which now is called Grace Lutheran Church. Prior to a call to the ministry, Pastor Schwartz worked as an industrial sales engineer. His wife, Delores Reich Schwartz, a practicing Physician Assistant, are blessed with three children, Abigail, Nathaniel, and Ethan.
His interests include reading, walking, tennis, and cooking.
Director of Christian Education (DCE): Josh Eckstein is a 2017 graduate from Concordia University – St. Paul (CSP) and is the new Director of Christian Education (DCE) here at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Before moving to Georgia, Josh lived in the great state of North Dakota, where his father currently serves as an LCMS pastor. His upbringing in a pastor’s family shaped his faith and led him to pursue a degree in Christian ministry, which ultimately led him to CSP. While at college, Josh met his wonderful wife, Kara, who also grew up in a pastor’s family and has a passion for ministry and outreach. Josh is looking forward to serving Our Redeemer through the educational ministries and both of the Ecksteins are eager to see what God has in store for them here.
His interests include photography, video, and Pokémon battles when he has the time.

Parish Administrator: Sheri D. Agee joined the staff at Our Redeemer on November 27, 2000 as the Parish Administrator. Before coming to Our Redeemer she was a stay at home mom to daughters, Sierra & Brooke. Prior to that she worked at the Medical College of Georgia in the Department of Medical Photography as the Office Manager. She is married to Chris Agee. She is the Women's Ministry Leader at her church and is active in many areas. Her interests include spending time with family, gardening, attending Christian concerts, painting, and traveling. Technology Support Facilitator: Karen Leibl joined the staff at Our Redeemer the end of April, 2021. Karen and her family have been members of Our Redeemer since 2000. Although they have traveled the world due to the military, they plan to make the Augusta, GA area their home after her husband, Aric, retires from Active Duty Air Force service.
